My requests to you
Please...
- Send cases stripped of all bearings, seals and studs.
- Send cases bolted together will ALL case screws and alignment pins.
- Include bearings if having me square your cases after linebore (additional charge if not included, per price list)
- Please send cases in a relatively clean condition.
- Please DO NOT ship cases packed in styrofoam "peanuts". There's a very good chance I will simply return the box with no work done if I receive a box full of peanuts around your cases.
- Please do not attach instructions to the outside of the box. If you have special instructions, place the note inside the box -- preferably attached to the engine it refers to.
Engine-specific instructions
- Yamaha KT-100
If you are having me widen or narrow a KT100 case, please provide either the dimension you want between bearings, or simply an amount you want removed (e.g. "I want this case to be 1.810 between bearings" ... or ... "I want this case narrowed .008").
I prefer that you provide me with the dimension you want between bearings.
Please note that the actual measurement between bearings may vary slightly from the number you provide me. This is because I measure to the back face of the bearing bore when doing the final machine work -- I have to measure this way because it's impossible to predict how much axial play your particular bearings may have. It's even more difficult if you're using double-row self-aligning bearings. Generally speaking, your case will end up measuring .001 or .002 wider between bearings than the number you provide me. (e.g. you may ask for 1.810 between bearings, but you may measure 1.811 or 1.812 between the inner races). - Comer K80
If you want your K80 Comer case widened for additional endplay, please specify how much deeper you'd like each main bearing to sit. (e.g. "I want each main bearing to sit .003 deeper") - Honda CR80/CR125
If you are sending a Honda CR80 or CR125 to have blueprinted, I can install all the bearings for you if you include them when you ship me the cases.
Other items
- If you are in a big rush for a particular engine or engines, please get in touch with me before you ship (to verify I can meet your time requirements).
- Customers outside the USA should contact me prior to shipping (to verify shipping/billing arrangements).
About shipping
I ship via UPS only.
The above map shows number of days for Ground shipping from my shop. With the price of fuel/shipping these days, I ship Ground to everyone unless you specifically ask for faster shipping.
Please include a note with your shipment if you want something different.
