I obtained this crankcase in a completely stock state... no machine work had ever been done on any surface.
This is a very desireable permanent mold case. If you have not read the article in the documents section of this web site on Yamaha crankcases, it's worth the few minutes required to read it.
This case has been completely blueprinted... by me. Every dimension is dead-on where it should be.
Case width is 1.820" between bearings (.910" per side, stock cases typically measure .910/.912 each side).
Please note: This is a used crankcase... and shows some signs of use, though very little.
However -- every single critical surface/dimension has been remachined. This case is FAR better than new in every way, and will retain its accuracy FAR longer than any of the newer die-cast cases.
Drop in main bearings of your choice and you'll be ready to assemble your engine on these cases. Includes alignment pins, case screws and studs for cylinder (as shown). No bearings or seals.
$275.00 - includes Ground UPS shipping to anywhere in the 48 states. -- SOLD - no longer available

Case height is 2.553" from crank centerline to deck (a new, stock crankcase measures 2.556" - 2.559").
Bearing interference has been machined to exactly what is required for this type of casting, and the bearing bores are round within .0001 or better.
Standard pulse tube location.
All threaded holes have been cleaned with a tap, all edges/corners and casting flash has been deburred, every case screw hole spotfaced and chamfered, etc.
