Inside the CG tranny, part 1


With the engine nearly done, it's time to tear into the transmission and make sure that it will be up to the task. This is a $40 Pick N Pull transmission from an 88 Integra. My plan was to just check all of the clearances and replace anything that was broken.

Luckily, nothing was broken and the transmission itself was actually in really good shape. So, the only thing I did was replace the seals and gaskets. Overall, this transmission was an excellent buy.
